    Description

I think at least 2 users raised this issue @ Staufeneck.

When a MATLAB installation is present on the user's computer (in its standard path), TVB gains a lot of new functions for analyzing/processing data.

Unfortunately, users have no clue about this. This could be improved:

At installation, either try to detect MATLAB's presence or ask about the path to the MATLAB installation on the local computer. Maybe the user could also add the MATLAB connection later?

Generally, the user should be made aware that she's missing out on a lot of fun if she hasn't MATLAB on her machine.
