Verify behavior of scipy ode integrators

The scipy ode integrators in principles should produce good results with improved error characteristics; it is however possible to misuse them.

This task is to compare the behavior of these integrators with Heun under different conditions to find where they differ, and provide advice to users on how to best use them.
