      Description

      For the purposes of acceleration, reducing memory usage and facilitating use of TVB algorithms from other languages like MATLAB, a Java library shall be created, along with interfaces to Python & MATLAB & tests against the Python implementation.

      Initial set of algorithms to implement include

      • geodesic distance & kernel-based local connectivity generation
      • sparse delayed connectivity (merges history & coupling functions)
      • Euler & Heun, white & colored noise
      • Convolution of raw simulation with spatial & temporal filters
      • String-defined arbitrary expressions for user defined models & coupling functions (allows also to compute Jacobian)
