Enable surface simulations with subcortical structures

      Description

      As discussed during the weekly meeting, we need to include the case of surface simulations when there are subcortical structures in the connectivity matrices.

      + Discussing with Tim, a potential solution would be:

      + the region mapping imported by the user should only contain the mapping for cortical regions (so length of (cortical) region mapping == number of vertices)
      + have an additional (subcortical) region mapping.
      + If the connectivity contains subcortical regions, then for surface simulations, the 'cortical' attribute is required.

      + During a configuration step previous to the simulation, the both region mappings should be glued into one, so the vertex_mapping, or better said node_mapping is properly done (required by the simulator)
