Add new functionality to Connectivity editor to remove specific 'edges'

      TVB allows for changing the weights of connections either in individual paths or by eliminating nodes. But could it be possible to eliminate types of connections? Ex. only inter hemispheric but not cortico-cortical? Right now the only way I checked for doing that would be one by oneā€¦

      My answer:

      This is something we would like to have in TVB. Assuming that the matrices are organized in quadrants, then we could provide a way to 'erase the connections' in quadrants 2 and 3 which would be effectively the inter-hemispheric connections.

      To take into account: Ana's connectivity are organized as the default TVB connectivity. So, in principle, there should be no danger in having this functionality. However, in cases like Tim's connectivity, unless the 'left-right' index vector is given, we cannot sort the matrix.**

      In any case, it'd be nice to have 'bulk' operations for a set of 'edges' (elements of the connectivity matrix), not only nodes. If this functionality already exists, my apologies but I never managed to find how it works.

        • that's not entirely true, since one could parse the region labels and use them to sort the matrix. However, labels are user defined, so it's not sure we'll have identifiers as 'l', 'left', 'r', 'right'.
