      Description

      The brain visualizer of region activity shows large blocks, which is neither realistic nor attractive.

      To avoid this problem, each region-surface combination should have a projection computed that assigns the contribution of each region to each vertex, and a region time-series can be dot-multiplied with this projection before sending the data to user to view.

      The contribution for a region can be calculated as some function of the distance between each vertex and the average position of vertices in that region. This needs to be developed further as in order to be correct, the sum of contributions to each vertex should, ideally, sum to 1.0, and this isn't straightforward on surfaces.
